townhouse conservatory

To maximise an under-used space, this project involved designing a large conservatory to sit in between two wings at the rear of this substantial property situated in Bridgnorth.

The framework of the roof, doors and windows were classic white to match the existing house joinery, while the low wall under the windows replicated the narrow-brick construction of the main building.

The result presented a beautiful extra living area that complemented the original building externally, and brought light and space into the home.

Using the area between the wings also enabled the clients to extend the living space without detracting from the garden terrace, so the conservatory — perfectly tailored to its location — elegantly enhanced both the house and garden.
